Al-Muzzammil Verse 13

choking food, and a painful punishment ˹in store for them˺

and food that chokes, and a painful punishment,

and food that chokes, and a painful chastisement,

food that chokes, and agonizing torment in store for them

And a food that choketh and a torment afflictive.

And a Food that chokes, and a Penalty Grievous.

and a food that chokes, and a grievous chastisement.

And food that will stick in the throat, and painful torment

And food that chokes, and a painful punishment.

and a food that chokes [those who eat it], and a painful punishment [prepared for]

And food that chokes, and a painful punishment.

And food that chokes and a woeful punishment.

And food of lumping in the throat and a painful torture.

And food that chokes, and a painful punishment.

And food that chokes and a painful doom,

And a food that chokes, and a painful torment.

Surely We have sent to you a Messenger, a witness against you, as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh.

And food that chokes and a painful punishment,

And food which choketh (the partaker), and a painful doom

food which chokes (them), and a painful torment.

and a food that chokes, one that causes the throat to choke, and this is [either] zaqqm [cf. Q. 44;43], dar` [cf. Q. 88;6], ghisln [cf. Q. 69;36] or thorns of fire, which can neither be vomited nor ingested, and a painful chastisement, in addition to the [punishment] mentioned, for those who deny the Prophet (s),

وَطَعَامًا ذَا غُصَّةٍ

And a food that chokes,

Ibn `Abbas said,

"This means it will get stuck in the throat and it will not enter or come out."

وَعَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
