فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوْهُمْ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَتَلَهُمْۖ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ اِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَمٰىۚ وَلِيُبْلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ مِنْهُ بَلَاۤءً حَسَنًاۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ( الأنفال: ١٧ )
Falam Taqtulūhum Wa Lakinna Allāha Qatalahum Wa Mā Ramayta 'Idh Ramayta Wa Lakinna Allāha Ramaá Wa Liyubliya Al-Mu'uminīna Minhu Balā'an Ĥasanāan 'Inna Allāha Samī`un `Alīmun. (al-ʾAnfāl 8:17)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Nicht ihr habt sie getötet, sondern Allah hat sie getötet. Und nicht du hast geworfen, als du geworfen hast, sondern Allah hat geworfen, und damit Er die Gläubigen einer schönen Prüfung von Ihm unterziehe. Gewiß, Allah ist Allhörend und Allwissend. ([8] al-Anfal (Die Beute) : 17)
English Sahih:
And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. ([8] Al-Anfal : 17)

Getötet habt nicht ihr sie, sondern ALLAH hat sie getötet. Und geworfen hast nicht du, als du geworfen hast, sondern ALLAH hat geworfen. Und damit ER die Mumin einer guten Prüfung unterzieht. Gewiß, ALLAH ist allhörend, allwissend.
