قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِّيْٓ اٰيَةً ۗقَالَ اٰيَتُكَ اَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا   ( مريم: ١٠ )

ءَايَةًۚ
a sign"

"Your sign

أَلَّا
(is) that not
tukallima
تُكَلِّمَ
you will speak
l-nāsa
ٱلنَّاسَ
(to) the people
thalātha
ثَلَٰثَ
(for) three
layālin
لَيَالٍ
nights
sawiyyan
سَوِيًّا
sound"

Qaala Rabbij 'al leee Aayah; qaala Aayatuka allaa tukalliman naasa salaasa layaalin sawiyyaa (Maryam 19:10)

Sahih International:

[Zechariah] said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, [being] sound." (Maryam [19] : 10)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

He said, “My Lord, make for me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you will not (be able to) speak to the people for three (consecutive) nights, even though you will be sound in health.”
