يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِۗ اِنْ يَّكُنْ مِّنْكُمْ عِشْرُوْنَ صَابِرُوْنَ يَغْلِبُوْا مِائَتَيْنِۚ وَاِنْ يَّكُنْ مِّنْكُمْ مِّائَةٌ يَّغْلِبُوْٓا اَلْفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ( الأنفال: ٦٥ )
Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu harridil mu'mineena 'alal qitaal; iny-yakum minkum 'ishroona saabiroona yaghliboo mi'atayn; wa iny-yakum minkum min'atuny yaghlibooo alfam minal lazeena kafaroo bi anahum qawmul laa yafqahoon (al-ʾAnfāl 8:65)
English Sahih:
O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are steadfast], they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand. (Al-Anfal [8] : 65)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
O Prophète, incite les croyants au combat. S'il se trouve parmi vous vingt endurants, ils vaincront deux cents; et s'il s'en trouve cent, ils vaincront mille mécréants, car ce sont vraiment des gens qui ne comprennent pas. (Al-Anfal [8] : 65)

Ô Prophète, exhorte les croyants à combattre en renforçant leur détermination et en les motivant. Ô croyants, vingt combattants endurants au combat viendront à bout de deux cent mécréants. Cent de ces mêmes combattants viendront à bout de mille mécréants. Les mécréants ne comprennent pas que la loi établie par Allah est qu’Il secourt Ses alliés et vainc Ses ennemis. Ils ne comprennent pas non plus quelle est la finalité du combat puisqu’ils combattent pour avoir le dessus dans ce bas monde.
