وَاِنْ طَاۤىِٕفَتٰنِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اقْتَتَلُوْا فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَهُمَاۚ فَاِنْۢ بَغَتْ اِحْدٰىهُمَا عَلَى الْاُخْرٰى فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِيْ تَبْغِيْ حَتّٰى تَفِيْۤءَ اِلٰٓى اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ ۖفَاِنْ فَاۤءَتْ فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَاَقْسِطُوْا ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِيْنَ ( الحجرات: ٩ )
Wain taifatani mina almumineena iqtataloo faaslihoo baynahuma fain baghat ihdahuma 'ala alokhra faqatiloo allatee tabghee hatta tafeea ila amri Allahi fain faat faaslihoo baynahuma bial'adli waaqsitoo inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteena (al-Ḥujurāt 49:9)

यदि मोमिनों में से दो गिरोह आपस में लड़ पड़े तो उनके बीच सुलह करा दो। फिर यदि उनमें से एक गिरोह दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करे, तो जो गिरोह ज़्यादती कर रहा हो उससे लड़ो, यहाँ तक कि वह अल्लाह के आदेश की ओर पलट आए। फिर यदि वह पलट आए तो उनके बीच न्याय के साथ सुलह करा दो, और इनसाफ़ करो। निश्चय ही अल्लाह इनसाफ़ करनेवालों को पसन्द करता है
English Sahih:
And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. ([49] Al-Hujurat : 9)

और अगर मोमिनीन में से दो फिरक़े आपस में लड़ पड़े तो उन दोनों में सुलह करा दो फिर अगर उनमें से एक (फ़रीक़) दूसरे पर ज्यादती करे तो जो (फिरक़ा) ज्यादती करे तुम (भी) उससे लड़ो यहाँ तक वह ख़ुदा के हुक्म की तरफ रूझू करे फिर जब रूजू करे तो फरीकैन में मसावात के साथ सुलह करा दो और इन्साफ़ से काम लो बेशक ख़ुदा इन्साफ़ करने वालों को दोस्त रखता है
