۞ رَبِّ قَدْ اٰتَيْتَنِيْ مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِيْ مِنْ تَأْوِيْلِ الْاَحَادِيْثِۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ اَنْتَ وَلِيّٖ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِۚ تَوَفَّنِيْ مُسْلِمًا وَّاَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصّٰلِحِيْنَ ( يوسف: ١٠١ )
Rabbi qad aataitanee minal mulki wa 'allamtanee min taaweelil ahaadees; faati ras samaawaati wal ardi Anta waliyyee fid dunyaa wal Aakhirati tawaffanee muslimanw wa alhiqnee bissaaliheen (Yūsuf 12:101)
English Sahih:
My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous." (Yusuf [12] : 101)

''എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീ എനിക്ക് അധികാരം നല്കി. സ്വപ്നകഥകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. ആകാശഭൂമികളെ പടച്ചവനേ, ഇഹത്തിലും പരത്തിലും നീയാണെന്റെ രക്ഷകന്. നീയെന്നെ മുസ്ലിമായി മരിപ്പിക്കേണമേ, സജ്ജനങ്ങളിലുള്പ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.'' (യൂസുഫ് [12] : 101)

(യൂസുഫ് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു:) എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് ഭരണാധികാരത്തില് നിന്ന് (ഒരംശം) നല്കുകയും, സ്വപ്നവാര്ത്തകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തില് നിന്നും (ചിലത്) നീ എനിക്ക് പഠിപ്പിച്ചുതരികയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവേ, നീ ഇഹത്തിലും പരത്തിലും എന്റെ രക്ഷാധികാരിയാകുന്നു. നീ എന്നെ മുസ്ലിമായി മരിപ്പിക്കുകയും സജ്ജനങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ചേര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ.
