فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا السَّاعَةَ اَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً ۚ فَقَدْ جَاۤءَ اَشْرَاطُهَا ۚ فَاَنّٰى لَهُمْ اِذَا جَاۤءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرٰىهُمْ ( محمد: ١٨ )
Fahal yanzuroona illas Saa'ata an taatiyahum baghtatan faqad jaaa'a ashraatuhaa; fa-annnaa lahum izaa jaaa'at hum zikraahum (Muḥammad 47:18)
English Sahih:
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then how [i.e., what good] to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance? (Muhammad [47] : 18)

അന്ത്യദിനം ആകസ്മികമായി ആസന്നമാകുന്നതല്ലാതെ വല്ലതും അവര്‍ക്ക് കാത്തിരിക്കാനുണ്ടോ? അതിന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങള്‍ ആഗതമായിരിക്കുന്നു. അതവരില്‍ വന്നെത്തിയാല്‍ പിന്നെ തങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള ഉദ്‌ബോധനം ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കെങ്ങനെ കഴിയും! (മുഹമ്മദ് [47] : 18)

ഇനി ആ (അന്ത്യ) സമയം പെട്ടെന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതല്ലാതെ മറ്റുവല്ലതും അവര്‍ക്കു കാത്തിരിക്കാനുണ്ടോ? എന്നാല്‍ അതിന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങള്‍ വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ അത് അവര്‍ക്കു വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അവര്‍ക്കുള്ള ഉല്‍ബോധനം അവര്‍ക്കെങ്ങനെ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടും?
