وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرٰى حَتّٰى يَبْعَثَ فِيْٓ اُمِّهَا رَسُوْلًا يَّتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِنَاۚ وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِى الْقُرٰىٓ اِلَّا وَاَهْلُهَا ظٰلِمُوْنَ ( القصص: ٥٩ )

أُمِّهَا
their mother (town)

a Messenger

يَتْلُوا۟

他宣读
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them

āyātinā
ءَايَٰتِنَاۚ
Our Verses
我们的|众迹象
wamā
وَمَا
And not
不|和
kunnā
كُنَّا
We would be
我们是
muh'likī
مُهْلِكِى
(the) one to destroy
毁灭
l-qurā
ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
the towns
众城市的
illā
إِلَّا
except
除了
wa-ahluhā
وَأَهْلُهَا
while their people
她的|居民|和
ẓālimūna
ظَٰلِمُونَ
(were) wrongdoers
众不义者
Wa maa kaana Rabbuka muhlikal quraa hattaa yab'asa feee ummihaa Rasoolany yatloo 'alaihim aayaatina; wa maa kunnaa muhlikil quraaa illaa wa ahluhaa zaalimoon (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:59)
English Sahih:
And never would your Lord have destroyed the cities until He had sent to their mother [i.e., principal city] a messenger reciting to them Our verses. And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers. (Al-Qasas [28] : 59)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
你的主，不会毁灭各城市，直到他在首邑派遣一个使者，对各城市的居民宣读他的迹象。我不会毁灭各城市，除非城市里的居民多行不义。 (故事 [28] : 59)
