وَاَقْسَمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ جَهْدَ اَيْمَانِهِمْ لَىِٕنْ جَاۤءَهُمْ نَذِيْرٌ لَّيَكُوْنُنَّ اَهْدٰى مِنْ اِحْدَى الْاُمَمِۚ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ نَذِيْرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ اِلَّا نُفُوْرًاۙ ( فاطر: ٤٢ )
wa-aqsamū
وَأَقْسَمُوا۟
And they swore
他们誓言|和
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
by Allah
真主|在
jahda
جَهْدَ
(the) strongest
最严重
aymānihim
أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ
(of) their oaths
他们的|誓言的
la-in
لَئِن
that if
如果|必定
jāahum
جَآءَهُمْ
came to them
他们|他来到
nadhīrun
نَذِيرٌ
a warner
一个警告者
layakūnunna
لَّيَكُونُنَّ
surely they would be
他们是|必定
ahdā
أَهْدَىٰ
more guided
遵循正道更加
min
مِنْ
than
从
iḥ'dā
إِحْدَى
any
任一
l-umami
ٱلْأُمَمِۖ
(of) the nations
众民族的
falammā
فَلَمَّا
But when
当|然后
jāahum
جَآءَهُمْ
came to them
他们|他来到
nadhīrun
نَذِيرٌ
a warner
一个警告者
mā
مَّا
not
不
zādahum
زَادَهُمْ
it increased them
他们|它更加
illā
إِلَّا
but
除了
nufūran
نُفُورًا
(in) aversion
逃避
Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aymaanihim la'in jaaa'ahum nazeerul layakoonunna ahdaa min ihdal umami falam maa jaaa'ahum nazeerum maa zaadahum illaa nufooraa (Fāṭir 35:42)
English Sahih:
And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion (Fatir [35] : 42)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
他们指安拉发出最严重的誓言说：如果有一个警告者来临他们，那末，他们遵循正道必甚过任何一个民族。当警告者来临他们的时候，他们却更加悖谬， (创造者 [35] : 42)
