فَاَخْرَجَ لَهُمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَّهٗ خُوَارٌ فَقَالُوْا هٰذَآ اِلٰهُكُمْ وَاِلٰهُ مُوْسٰى ەۙ فَنَسِيَ ۗ ( طه: ٨٨ )
Then he brought forth
فَأَخْرَجَ
So brachte er
for them
لَهُمْ
für sie
a calf's
عِجْلًا
ein Kalb
body
جَسَدًا
(als) Leib,
it had
لَّهُۥ
für ihn
a lowing sound
خُوَارٌ
(gab es) ein Blöken.
and they said
فَقَالُوا۟
So sagten sie;
"This
هَٰذَآ
"Dies
(is) your god
إِلَٰهُكُمْ
(ist) euer Gott
and the god
وَإِلَٰهُ
und (der) Gott
(of) Musa
مُوسَىٰ
Musas,
but he forgot"
فَنَسِىَ
aber er hat vergessen."
Fa'akhraja Lahum `Ijlāan Jasadāan Lahu Khuwārun Faqālū Hādhā 'Ilahukum Wa 'Ilahu Mūsaá Fanasiya. (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:88)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
So brachte er ihnen ein Kalb hervor als Leib, das blökte. Sie sagten; ,Das ist euer Gott und der Gott Musas, aber er hat (es) vergessen'." ([20] Ta-Ha : 88)
English Sahih:
And he extracted for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, and they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot." ([20] Taha : 88)
