Ash-Shu'ara Verse 177

when Shu’aib said to them,[[ Unlike other prophets in this sûrah who are identified as the brothers of fellow tribesmen, Shu’aib is not identified as the brother of the people of the Aykah (which is the name of the forest where they used to worship a particular tree) because they are identified by faith, rather than a tribal connection. ]] “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?

When Shu‘ayb said to them, “Will you not fear Allah?

when Shuaib said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing?

Shuayb said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of God?

What time Shu'aib, said unto them: fear ye not?

Behold, Shu'aib said to them; "Will ye not fear (Allah)?

Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear?

When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed?

When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?”

when Shu‘ayb said to them, ‘Will you not be wary [of Allah]?

(Recall) when Shu‘ayb said to them (by way of timely warning): "Will you not keep from disobedience to God in reverence for Him and seek refuge with His protection?

(Recall) when Shu`aib said to them, `Will you not guard against evil?

When/if Shu`aib said to them: "Do you not fear and obey

When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?”

Shu´eyb said unto them, "Will you not fear

When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)?

And surely thy Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful.

When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)?

When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)?

Shu'ayb asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God?

Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious?

When Shu`ayb said to them: "Will you not have Taqwa"

Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God?

When Shuaib said to them, “Do you not fear?

when Shu`ayb -- He [God] does not say `their brother' [in this instance] because he [Shu`ayb] was not [in terms of lineage] one of them -- said to them, `Will you not fear God?

فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

Their brother Shu'aib tried hard to induce them to open their hearts' ears and their minds' eyes and listen to his exhortation. Entertaining expectation of something desired, he- Shu'aib - said to them: "Will you not keep in awe of Allah and entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Him
