فَرَدَدْنٰهُ اِلٰٓى اُمِّهٖ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ اَنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ وَّلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ࣖ  ( القصص: ١٣ )

faradadnāhu
فَرَدَدْنَٰهُ
So We restored him
ilā
إِلَىٰٓ
to
ummihi
أُمِّهِۦ
his mother
kay
كَىْ
that
taqarra
تَقَرَّ
might be comforted
ʿaynuhā
عَيْنُهَا
her eye
walā
وَلَا
and not
taḥzana
تَحْزَنَ
she may grieve
walitaʿlama
وَلِتَعْلَمَ
and that she would know
anna
أَنَّ
that
waʿda
وَعْدَ
the Promise of Allah
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
the Promise of Allah
ḥaqqun
حَقٌّ
(is) true
walākinna
وَلَٰكِنَّ
But
aktharahum
أَكْثَرَهُمْ
most of them
لَا
(do) not
yaʿlamūna
يَعْلَمُونَ
know

Faradadnaahu ilaa ummihee kai taqarra 'ainuhaa wa laa tahzana wa lita'lama anna wa'dal laahi haqqunw wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:13)

Sahih International:

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them [i.e., the people] do not know. (Al-Qasas [28] : 13)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Thus We brought him back to his mother, so that her eye might have comfort and she might not grieve, and so that she might know that Allah’s promise is true, but most of them do not know.
