(the) Lord
l-ʿālamīna
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
(of) the worlds.

Tanzeelul Kitaabi 'laaraiba feehi mir rabbil 'aalameen

Sahih International:

[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.

The sending down of the Book, wherein no doubt is, from the Lord of all Being.

2 Abdul Haleem

This scripture, free from all doubt, has been sent down from the Lord of the Worlds.

3 Abdul Majid Daryabadi

Revelation of this Book, whereof there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the Worlds.

(This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

This Book (-the Qur´ân) which is wanting in naught, containing nothing doubtful, disturbing and there is no false charge in it, has been revealed by the Lord of the worlds.

The Book`s descent, no doubt/suspicion in it, (is) from the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord.

23 Tafsir jalalayn

The revelation of the Book, the Qur'n (tanzlu'l-kitbi, the subject) whereof there is no doubt (l rayba fh, the first predicate) from the Lord of the Worlds (min rabbi'l-`lamna, the second predicate).

24 Tafseer Ibn Kathir

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ


The revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,

means, there is no doubt whatsoever that it has been revealed.

مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ



from the Lord of all that exists.

Then Allah tells us about the idolators
