Tafsir

تَنزِيلُ
(The) revelation
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book,
لَا
(there is) no
رَيْبَ
doubt
فِيهِ
about it,
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
(of) the worlds.

Tanzeelul Kitaabi 'laaraiba feehi mir rabbil 'aalameen

[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.

Tafsir

أَمْ
Or
يَقُولُونَ
(do) they say,
ٱفْتَرَىٰهُۚ
"He invented it
بَلْ
Nay,
هُوَ
it
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Lord
لِتُنذِرَ
that you may warn
قَوْمًا
a people
مَّآ
not
أَتَىٰهُم
has come to them
مِّن
from
نَّذِيرٍ
warner
مِّن
from
قَبْلِكَ
before you
لَعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
يَهْتَدُونَ
be guided.

Am yaqooloonaf taraahu bal huwal haqqu mir rabbika litunzira qawma maaa ataahum min nazeerim min qablika la'allahum yahtadoon

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muhammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.

Tafsir

ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
and the earth
وَمَا
and whatever
بَيْنَهُمَا
(is) between them
فِى
in
سِتَّةِ
six
أَيَّامٍ
periods.
ثُمَّ
Then
ٱسْتَوَىٰ
established Himself
عَلَى
on
ٱلْعَرْشِۖ
the Throne.
مَا
Not
لَكُم
for you
مِّن
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
besides Him
مِن
besides Him
وَلِىٍّ
protector
وَلَا
and not
شَفِيعٍۚ
any intercessor.
أَفَلَا
Then will not
تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
you take heed?

Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaa fee sittati ayyaam;Thummas tawaa 'alal 'arsh; maa lakum min doonihee minw-wwaliyyinw-wala shafee'; afala tatazakkaroon

It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded?

Tafsir

يُدَبِّرُ
He regulates
ٱلْأَمْرَ
the affair
مِنَ
of
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the heaven
إِلَى
to
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth;
ثُمَّ
then
يَعْرُجُ
it will ascend
إِلَيْهِ
to Him
فِى
in
يَوْمٍ
a Day,
كَانَ
(the) measure of which is
مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ
(the) measure of which is
أَلْفَ
a thousand
سَنَةٍ
years
مِّمَّا
of what
تَعُدُّونَ
you count.

Yudabbirul amra minas samaaa'i ilal ardi Thumma ya'ruju ilai Thumma ya'ruju ilaihi fee yawmin kaana miqdaaruhoooo alfa sanatim mimmaa ta'uddoon

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

Tafsir

ذَٰلِكَ
That
عَٰلِمُ
(is the) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ
(of) the hidden
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
and the witnessed,
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty,
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
the Most Merciful,

Zaalika 'aalimul ghaybi wa shahaadatil 'azeezur raheem

That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,

Tafsir

ٱلَّذِىٓ
The One Who
أَحْسَنَ
made good
كُلَّ
every
شَىْءٍ
thing
خَلَقَهُۥۖ
He created,
وَبَدَأَ
and He began
خَلْقَ
(the) creation
ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ
(of) man
مِن
from
طِينٍ
clay.

Allazee ahsana kulla shai in khalaqa; wa bada a khalqal insaani min teen

Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

Tafsir

ثُمَّ
Then
جَعَلَ
He made
نَسْلَهُۥ
his progeny
مِن
from
سُلَٰلَةٍ
an extract
مِّن
from
مَّآءٍ
water
مَّهِينٍ
despised.

Thumma ja'ala naslahoo min sulaalatim mim maaa'immaheen

Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.

Tafsir

ثُمَّ
Then
سَوَّىٰهُ
He fashioned him
وَنَفَخَ
and breathed
فِيهِ
into him
مِن
from
رُّوحِهِۦۖ
His spirit
وَجَعَلَ
and made
لَكُمُ
for you
ٱلسَّمْعَ
the hearing
وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ
and the sight
وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَۚ
and feelings;
قَلِيلًا
little
مَّا
[what]
تَشْكُرُونَ
thanks you give.

Thumma sawwaahu wa nafakha feehi mir roohihih; wa ja'ala lakumus sam'a wal-absaara wal-af'idah; taqaleelam maa tashkuroon

Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.

Tafsir

وَقَالُوٓا۟
And they say,
أَءِذَا
"Is (it) when
ضَلَلْنَا
we are lost
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth,
أَءِنَّا
will we
لَفِى
certainly be in
خَلْقٍ
a creation
جَدِيدٍۭۚ
new?"
بَلْ
Nay,
هُم
they
بِلِقَآءِ
in (the) meeting
رَبِّهِمْ
(of) their Lord
كَٰفِرُونَ
(are) disbelievers.

Wa qaalooo 'a-izaa dalalnaa fil ardi 'a-innaa lafee khalqin jadeed; bal hum biliqaaa'i rabbihim kaafirroon

And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers.
