وَاِذَا ذُكِرَ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَـَٔزَّتْ قُلُوْبُ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِۚ وَاِذَا ذُكِرَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖٓ اِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ  ( الزمر: ٤٥ )

wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when
dhukira
ذُكِرَ
Allah is mentioned
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah is mentioned
waḥdahu
وَحْدَهُ
Alone
ish'ma-azzat
ٱشْمَأَزَّتْ
shrink with aversion
qulūbu
قُلُوبُ
(the) hearts
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(of) those who
لَا
(do) not
yu'minūna
يُؤْمِنُونَ
believe
bil-ākhirati
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِۖ
in the Hereafter
wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
and when
dhukira
ذُكِرَ
are mentioned
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those
min
مِن
besides Him
dūnihi
دُونِهِۦٓ
besides Him
idhā
إِذَا
behold!
hum
هُمْ
They
yastabshirūna
يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
rejoice

Wa izaa zukiral laahu wahdahush ma azzat quloobul lazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati wa izaa zukiral lazeena min dooniheee izaa hum yastabshiroon (az-Zumar 39:45)

Sahih International:

And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice. (Az-Zumar [39] : 45)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

When Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are filled with disgust, and when those (whom they worship) other than Him are mentioned, they become happy forthwith.
