۞ اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيْهِ بِاَمْرِهٖ وَلِتَبْتَغُوْا مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَۚ   ( الجاثية: ١٢ )

sakhara
سَخَّرَ
subjected
lakumu
لَكُمُ
to you
l-baḥra
ٱلْبَحْرَ
the sea
litajriya
لِتَجْرِىَ
that may sail
l-ful'ku
ٱلْفُلْكُ
the ships
fīhi
فِيهِ
therein
bi-amrihi
بِأَمْرِهِۦ
by His Command
walitabtaghū
وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟
and that you may seek
min
مِن
of
faḍlihi
فَضْلِهِۦ
His Bounty
walaʿallakum
وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
and that you may
tashkurūna
تَشْكُرُونَ
give thanks

Allaahul lazee sahkhara lakumul bahra litajriyal fulku feehi bi amrihee wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakum tashkuroon (al-Jāthiyah 45:12)

Sahih International:

It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. (Al-Jathiyah [45] : 12)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Allah is the One who has subjugated for you the sea, so that the ships may sail in it with His command, and so that you may seek His grace, and so that you offer gratitude.
