Ha, Meem.

Tafsir

تَنزِيلُ
(The) revelation
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book
مِنَ
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمِ
the All-Wise

Tanzeelul Kitaabi minal laahil 'Azeezil Hakeem

The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Tafsir

إِنَّ
Indeed
فِى
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth
لَءَايَٰتٍ
surely (are) Signs
لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
for the believers

Innaa fis samaawaati wal ardi la Aayaatil lilmu'mineen

Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers.

Tafsir

وَفِى
And in
خَلْقِكُمْ
your creation
وَمَا
and what
يَبُثُّ
He disperses
مِن
of
دَآبَّةٍ
(the) moving creatures
ءَايَٰتٌ
(are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍ
for a people
يُوقِنُونَ
who are certain

Wa fee khalaqikum wa maa yabussu min daaabbatin Aayaatul liqawminy-yooqinoon

And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith].

Tafsir

وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ
And (in the) alternation
ٱلَّيْلِ
(of) the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
and the day
وَمَآ
and what
أَنزَلَ
Allah sends down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah sends down
مِنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
مِن
of
رِّزْقٍ
(the) provision
فَأَحْيَا
and gives life
بِهِ
thereby
ٱلْأَرْضَ
(to) the earth
بَعْدَ
after
مَوْتِهَا
its death
وَتَصْرِيفِ
and (in) directing of
ٱلرِّيَٰحِ
(the) winds
ءَايَٰتٌ
(are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍ
for a people
يَعْقِلُونَ
who reason

Wakhtilaafil laili wannahaari wa maaa anzalal laahu minas samaaa'i mir rizqin fa ahyaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa wa tasreefir riyaahi Aayaatul liqawminy ya'qiloon

And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allah sends down from the sky of provision [i.e., rain] and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.

Tafsir

تِلْكَ
These
ءَايَٰتُ
(are the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
نَتْلُوهَا
We recite them
عَلَيْكَ
to you
بِٱلْحَقِّۖ
in truth
فَبِأَىِّ
Then in what
حَدِيثٍۭ
statement
بَعْدَ
after
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ
and His Verses
يُؤْمِنُونَ
will they believe?

Tilka Aayatul laahi natloohaa 'alika bilhaqq, fabiayyi hadeesim ba'dal laahi wa Aayaatihee yu'minoon

These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe?

Tafsir

وَيْلٌ
Woe
لِّكُلِّ
to every
أَفَّاكٍ
liar
أَثِيمٍ
sinful

Wailul likulli affaakin aseem

Woe to every sinful liar

Tafsir

يَسْمَعُ
Who hears
ءَايَٰتِ
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
تُتْلَىٰ
recited
عَلَيْهِ
to him
ثُمَّ
then
يُصِرُّ
persists
مُسْتَكْبِرًا
arrogantly
كَأَن
as if
لَّمْ
not
يَسْمَعْهَاۖ
he heard them
فَبَشِّرْهُ
So give him tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
(of) a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
painful

Yasma'u Aayaatil laahi tutlaa 'alaihi summa yusirru mustakbiran ka-al lam yasma'haa fabashshirhu bi'azaabin aleem

Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.

Tafsir

وَإِذَا
And when
عَلِمَ
he knows
مِنْ
of
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our Verses
شَيْـًٔا
anything
ٱتَّخَذَهَا
he takes them
هُزُوًاۚ
(in) ridicule
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those -
لَهُمْ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
مُّهِينٌ
humiliating

Wa izaa 'alima min Aayaatinaa shai'anit takhazahaa huzuwaa; ulaaa'ika lahum 'azaabum muheen

And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

Tafsir

مِّن
Before them
وَرَآئِهِمْ
Before them
جَهَنَّمُۖ
(is) Hell
وَلَا
and not
يُغْنِى
will avail
عَنْهُم
them
مَّا
what
كَسَبُوا۟
they had earned
شَيْـًٔا
anything
وَلَا
and not
مَا
what
ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
they had taken
مِن
besides
دُونِ
besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَوْلِيَآءَۖ
(as) protectors
وَلَهُمْ
And for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌ
great

Minw waraaa'ihim Jahannamu wa laa yughnee 'anhum maa kasaboo shai'anw wa laa mat takhazoo min doonil laahi awliyaaa'a wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem

Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
