Nuh Verse 16

placing the moon within them as a ˹reflected˺ light, and the sun as a ˹radiant˺ lamp?

and has placed the moon therein as a light and the sun as a burning lamp?

and set the moon therein for a light and the sun for a lamp?

placed the moon as a light in them and the sun as a lamp,

And hath placed the moon therein for a light, and hath made the sun a lamp?

"'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?

and has placed the moon in them as a light, and the sun as a radiant lamp?

And has placed the moon therein, an illumination, and has placed the sun, a lighted lamp?

‘And in them, has illuminated the moon, and made the sun a lamp?’

and has made therein the moon for a light and the sun for a lamp?

‘And He has set up within them the moon as a light (reflected), and has set up the sun as a lamp.

`And He has set the moon in their midst for light and the sun He has made as a glorious lamp.

And He made/put the moon in them (as) a light, and He made/put the sun (as) a lamp

‘And in them, has illuminated the moon, and made the sun a lamp?’

´And made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp

And has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp?

Then He returns you to it, then will He bring you forth a (new) bringing forth.

And made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp?

And hath made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp?

and placed therein the moon as a light

setting in them the moon as a light and the sun as a lantern?

And has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp

and made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp,

And He set the moon in their midst for light, and He made the sun a lamp.

and made the moon therein -- that is to say, within their totality, [but] which is [effectively] true in the case of the heaven of this world -- as a light and made the sun as a lamp?, as an illuminating lantern, more powerful than the light of the moon.

Allah has created the seven heavens in tiers and has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp.

meaning, He made a distinction between them (the sun and moon) in reference to their lighting. He made each one of them in a set manner with a distinct quality so that the night and day may be known. They (the night and day) are known by the rising and setting of the sun. He also determined fixed stations and positions for the moon, and He made its light vary so that sometimes it increases until it reaches a maximum, then it begins to decrease until it is completely veiled. This shows the passing of months and years.

This is as Allah said,

هُوَ الَّذِى جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَأءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُوراً وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الايَـتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out for its stages that you might know the number of years and the reckoning. Allah did not create this but in truth. He explains the Ayat in detail for people who have knowledge. (10;5)

Concerning Allah's statement,

وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِّنَ الاْاَرْضِ نَبَاتًا

How in all amid them stood the moon - the satellite of the earth dispensing light to dispel the darkness of the night, and He made the sun candescent and a body giving natural light
