قَالَ لَهُمْ مُّوْسٰى وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوْا عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا فَيُسْحِتَكُمْ بِعَذَابٍۚ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرٰى ( طه: ٦١ )
Qaala lahum Moosaa wailakum laa taftaroo 'alal laahi kaziban fa yus hitakum bi 'azaab, wa qad khaaba manif taraa (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:61)
English Sahih:
Moses said to them [i.e., the magicians summoned by Pharaoh], "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]." (Taha [20] : 61)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Moïse leur dit: «Malheur à vous! Ne forgez pas de mensonge contre Allah: sinon par un châtiment Il vous anéantira. Celui qui forge (un mensonge) est perdu». (Ta-Ha [20] : 61)

Moïse dit aux magiciens de Pharaon en guise de conseil: Prenez garde et n’inventez pas de mensonge sur Allah en pratiquant la magie par laquelle vous trompez les gens. Il vous anéantirait alors en abattant sur vous Son châtiment. Est perdu celui qui invente des mensonges sur Allah.
