وَقَالُوْٓا اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلٰى عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَّاَصِيْلًا ( الفرقان: ٥ )
waqālū
وَقَالُوٓا۟
And they say
Et ils ont dit :
asāṭīru
أَسَٰطِيرُ
"Tales
« Des légendes
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(of) the former people
(des gens) premiers
ik'tatabahā
ٱكْتَتَبَهَا
which he has had written
(qu’)il [les] a écrits,
fahiya
فَهِىَ
and they
elles (sont) donc
tum'lā
تُمْلَىٰ
are dictated
récitées
ʿalayhi
عَلَيْهِ
to him
à lui
buk'ratan
بُكْرَةً
morning
(en) matinée
wa-aṣīlan
وَأَصِيلًا
and evening"
et (en) soirée avant le coucher du soleil. »
Wa qaalooo asaateerul awwaleenak tatabahaa fahiya tumlaa 'alaihi bukratanw wa aseelaa (al-Furq̈ān 25:5)
English Sahih:
And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." (Al-Furqan [25] : 5)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et ils disent: «Ce sont des contes d'anciens qu'il se fait écrire! On les lui dicte matin et soir!» (Al-Furqane [25] : 5)
