وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمٰنُ دَاوٗدَ وَقَالَ يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنْطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَاُوْتِيْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍۗ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِيْنُ ( النمل: ١٦ )
Wa warisa Sulaimaanu Daawooda wa qaala yaaa aiyuhan naasu 'ullimnaa mantiqat tairi wa ooteenaa min kulli shai'in inna haazaa lahuwal fadlul mubeen (an-Naml 27:16)
English Sahih:
And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty." (An-Naml [27] : 16)

Et Salomon hérita de David et dit: «O hommes! On nous a appris le langage des oiseaux; et on nous a donné part de toutes choses. C'est là vraiment la grâce évidente. (An-Naml [27] : 16)

Il s’adressa en ces termes aux gens en guise de proclamation des bienfaits d’Allah: Ô gens, Allah nous a fait comprendre la langue des oiseaux et nous a accordé tout ce qu’Il accorde habituellement aux prophètes et aux rois.
