An-Naml Ayah 85

وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمَا ظَلَمُوْا فَهُمْ لَا يَنْطِقُوْنَ   ( النمل: ٨٥ )

wawaqaʿa
وَوَقَعَ
And (will be) fulfilled
Et est arrivée
l-qawlu
ٱلْقَوْلُ
the word
la parole
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِم
against them
contre eux
bimā
بِمَا
because
parce qu’
ẓalamū
ظَلَمُوا۟
they wronged
ils ont fait injustice,
fahum
فَهُمْ
and they
donc ils
lā
لَا
(will) not
ne
yanṭiqūna
يَنطِقُونَ
speak
parleront (pas) avec leurs langues.

Wa waqa'al qawlu 'alaihim bimaa zalamoo fahum laa yantiqoon (an-Naml 27:85)

English Sahih:

And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak. (An-Naml [27] : 85)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Et la Parole leur tombera dessus à cause de leurs méfaits. Et ils ne pourront rien dire. (An-Naml [27] : 85)

Le châtiment s’abattra sur eux parce que leur mécréance et leur démenti des versets d’Allah les ont rendus injustes. Ils ne pourront pas plaider leur cause car ils en seront incapables et leurs arguments seront invalides.
