اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْكُمْۗ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَاۤىِٕكُمْ مَّنْ يَّفْعَلُ مِنْ ذٰلِكُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍۗ سُبْحٰنَهٗ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ࣖ ( الروم: ٤٠ )
Allaahul lazee khalaqa kum summa razaqakm summa yumeetukum summa yuhyeekum hal min shurakaaa'ikum mai yaf'alu min zaalikum min shai'; Sub haanahoo wa Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon (ar-Rūm 30:40)
English Sahih:
Allah is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. (Ar-Rum [30] : 40)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
C'est Allah qui vous a créés et vous a nourris. Ensuite Il vous fera mourir, puis Il vous redonnera vie. Y en a-t-il, parmi vos associés, qui fasse quoi que ce soit de tout cela? Gloire à Lui! Il transcende ce qu'on Lui associe. (Ar-Rum [30] : 40)

Allah est le Seul à vous avoir créés et pourvus puis à vous faire mourir et à vous ressusciter. Y a-t-il parmi les idoles que vous adorez en dehors d’Allah certaines ayant le pouvoir d’accomplir une part de cela ? Qu’Allah soit sanctifié et élevé au-dessus de ce que disent et croient les polythéistes.
