مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلّٰهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيْعًاۗ اِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهٗ ۗوَالَّذِيْنَ يَمْكُرُوْنَ السَّيِّاٰتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ ۗوَمَكْرُ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُوَ يَبُوْرُ ( فاطر: ١٠ )
Man kaana yureedul 'izzata falillaahil 'izzatu jamee'aa; ilaihi yas'adul kalimut taiyibu wal'amalus saalihu yarfa'uh; wallazeena yamkuroonas sayyiaati lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wa makru ulaaa'ika huwa yaboor (Fāṭir 35:10)
English Sahih:
Whoever desires honor [through power] – then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those – it will perish. (Fatir [35] : 10)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Quiconque veut la puissance (qu'il la cherche auprès d'Allah) car la puissance tout entière est à Allah: vers Lui monte la bonne parole, et Il élève haut la bonne action. Et quand à ceux qui complotent de mauvaises actions, ils auront un dur châtiment. Cependant, leur stratagème est voué à l'échec. (Fatir [35] : 10)

Celui qui recherche la puissance dans le bas monde ou dans l’au-delà ne doit la rechercher qu’auprès d'Allah, car à Allah Seul appartient la puissance dans le bas et dans l’au-delà. C’est vers Lui que monte Sa bonne mention et Il élève vers Lui les bonnes œuvres des serviteurs.
