وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّاٰتُ مَا كَسَبُوْا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ( الزمر: ٤٨ )
wabadā
وَبَدَا
And will become apparent
Et se révéleront
lahum
لَهُمْ
to them
pour eux
sayyiātu
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
(the) evils
(les) méfaits
mā
مَا
(of) what
qu’
kasabū
كَسَبُوا۟
they earned
ils ont acquit
waḥāqa
وَحَاقَ
and will surround
et encerclera
bihim
بِهِم
them
[autour d’]eux
mā
مَّا
what
ce dont
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they used (to)
ils se moquaient
bihi
بِهِۦ
[in it]
de lui
yastahziūna
يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
mock
ils se moquaient.
Wa badaa lahum saiyiaatu maa kasaboo wa haaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon (az-Zumar 39:48)
English Sahih:
And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. (Az-Zumar [39] : 48)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
et leur apparaîtront les méfaits qu'ils ont commis, et ce dont ils se raillaient les enveloppera. (Az-Zumar [39] : 48)
