اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِيْٓ اُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ ۗاِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا خٰسِرِيْنَ ( الأحقاف: ١٨ )
Those
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
यही वो लोग हैं
(are) the ones
ٱلَّذِينَ
जो
(has) proved true
حَقَّ
हक़ हो गई
against them
عَلَيْهِمُ
उन पर
the word
ٱلْقَوْلُ
बात
among
فِىٓ
उम्मतों में
nations
أُمَمٍ
उम्मतों में
(that) already passed away
قَدْ
तहक़ीक़
(that) already passed away
خَلَتْ
जो गुज़र चुकीं
before them
مِن
उनस पहल
before them
قَبْلِهِم
उनस पहल
of
مِّنَ
जिन्नों में से
(the) jinn
ٱلْجِنِّ
जिन्नों में से
and the men
وَٱلْإِنسِۖ
और इन्सानों में से
Indeed, they
إِنَّهُمْ
बेशक वो
are
كَانُوا۟
थे वो
(the) losers
خَٰسِرِينَ
ख़सारा पाने वाले
Olaika allatheena haqqa 'alayhimu alqawlu fee umamin qad khalat min qablihim mina aljinni waalinsi innahum kanoo khasireena (al-ʾAḥq̈āf 46:18)

ऐसे ही लोग है जिनपर उन गिरोहों के साथ यातना की बात सत्यापित होकर रही जो जिन्नों और मनुष्यों में से उनसे पहले गुज़र चुके है। निश्चय ही वे घाटे में रहे
English Sahih:
Those are the ones upon whom the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers. ([46] Al-Ahqaf : 18)
