وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَۚ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوْا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوْٓا اٰيٰتِيْ وَمَآ اُنْذِرُوْا هُزُوًا ( الكهف: ٥٦ )
Wa maa nursilul mursaleena illaa mubashshireena wa munzireen; wa yujaadilul lazeena kafaroo bilbaatili liyudhidoo bihil haqqa wattakhazooo Aayaatee wa maaa unziroo huzuwaa (al-Kahf 18:56)
English Sahih:
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses, and that of which they are warned, in ridicule. (Al-Kahf [18] : 56)

ശുഭവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നവരും താക്കീതു നല്കുന്നവരുമായല്ലാതെ നാം ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല. സത്യനിഷേധികള് മിഥ്യാവാദങ്ങളുമായി സത്യത്തെ തകര്ക്കാന് തര്ക്കിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരെന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെയും അവര്ക്കു നല്കിയ താക്കീതുകളെയും പുച്ഛിച്ചു തള്ളുന്നു. (അല്കഹ്ഫ് [18] : 56)

സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും, താക്കീത് നല്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും മാത്രമാണ് നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. അവിശ്വസിച്ചവര് മിഥ്യാവാദവുമായി തര്ക്കിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അത് മൂലം സത്യത്തെ തകര്ത്തുകളയുവാന് വേണ്ടി. എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെയും അവര്ക്ക് നല്കപ്പെട്ട താക്കീതുകളെയും അവര് പരിഹാസ്യമാക്കിത്തീര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
