وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلٰى ثَمُوْدَ اَخَاهُمْ صٰلِحًا اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ فَاِذَا هُمْ فَرِيْقٰنِ يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ ( النمل: ٤٥ )
walaqad arsalnā
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ
And certainly We sent
നാം അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായി, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അയച്ചു
ilā thamūda
إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ
to Thamud
ഥമൂദ് ഗോത്രത്തിലേക്കു
akhāhum
أَخَاهُمْ
their brother
അവരുടെ സഹോദരനെ
ṣāliḥan
صَٰلِحًا
Salih
സ്വാലിഹിനെ
ani uʿ'budū
أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟
that "Worship
നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കുവിന്‍ എന്നു
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah"
അല്ലാഹുവിനെ
fa-idhā
فَإِذَا
Then behold!
അപ്പോഴതാ
hum
هُمْ
They
അവര്‍
farīqāni
فَرِيقَانِ
(became) two parties
രണ്ടു കക്ഷികള്‍, രണ്ടു വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍
yakhtaṣimūna
يَخْتَصِمُونَ
quarreling
കക്ഷി വഴക്കുകൂട്ടുന്ന, തര്‍ക്കിക്കുന്ന
Wa laqad arsalnaaa ilaa Samoda akhaahum Saalihan ani'budul lahha fa izaa hum fareeqaani yakhtasimoon (an-Naml 27:45)
English Sahih:
And We had certainly sent to Thamud their brother Saleh, [saying], "Worship Allah," and at once they were two parties conflicting. (An-Naml [27] : 45)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
സമൂദ് സമുദായത്തിലേക്ക് നാം അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്‍ സ്വാലിഹിനെ അയച്ചു. 'നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിനുമാത്രം വഴിപ്പെടുക' എന്നതായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിലൂടെ നല്‍കിയ സന്ദേശം. അതോടെ അവര്‍ പരസ്പരം കയര്‍ക്കുന്ന രണ്ട് കക്ഷികളായിപിരിഞ്ഞു. (അന്നംല് [27] : 45)
