وَمَا كُنْتَ بِجَانِبِ الْغَرْبِيِّ اِذْ قَضَيْنَآ اِلٰى مُوْسَى الْاَمْرَ وَمَا كُنْتَ مِنَ الشّٰهِدِيْنَ ۙ ( القصص: ٤٤ )
wamā kunta
وَمَا كُنتَ
And not you were
നീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല, നീ ആയിരുന്നില്ല
bijānibi l-gharbiyi
بِجَانِبِ ٱلْغَرْبِىِّ
on (the) side western
പടിഞ്ഞാറുവശത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തില്, ഓരത്തില്
idh qaḍaynā
إِذْ قَضَيْنَآ
when We decreed
നാം നിര്വ്വഹിച്ചപ്പോള്, നിറവേറ്റിയപ്പോള്
ilā mūsā
إِلَىٰ مُوسَى
to Musa
മൂസാക്ക്
l-amra
ٱلْأَمْرَ
the Commandment
(ആ) കാര്യം, കല്പന
wamā kunta
وَمَا كُنتَ
and not you were
നീ ആയിരുന്നതുമില്ല
mina l-shāhidīna
مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
among the witnesses
സാക്ഷികളില്, ഹാജരുള്ളവരില് (പെട്ടവന്)
Wa maa kunta bijaanibil gharbiyyi iz qadainaaa ilaa Moosal amra wa maa kunta minash shaahideen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:44)
English Sahih:
And you, [O Muhammad], were not on the western side [of the mount] when We revealed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses [to that]. (Al-Qasas [28] : 44)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
മൂസാക്കു നാം നിയമ പ്രമാണം നല്കിയപ്പോള് ആ പശ്ചിമ ദിക്കില് നീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. അതിനു സാക്ഷിയായവരിലും നീയുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. (അല്ഖസ്വസ്വ് [28] : 44)
