وَلَقَدْ اُوْحِيَ اِلَيْكَ وَاِلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَۚ لَىِٕنْ اَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ ( الزمر: ٦٥ )
Wa laqad oohiya ilaika wa ilal lazeena min qablika la in ashrakta la yahbatanna 'amalu ka wa latakoonanna minal khaasireen (az-Zumar 39:65)
English Sahih:
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers. (Az-Zumar [39] : 65)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
സംശയമില്ല; നിനക്കും നിനക്കു മുമ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും ബോധനമായി നല്കിയതിതാണ്: 'നീ അല്ലാഹുവില് പങ്കുചേര്ത്താല് ഉറപ്പായും നിന്റെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളൊക്കെ പാഴാകും. നീ എല്ലാം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരില്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.' (അസ്സുമര് [39] : 65)

തീര്ച്ചയായും നിനക്കും നിന്റെ മുമ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും സന്ദേശം നല്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത് ഇതത്രെ: (അല്ലാഹുവിന്) നീ പങ്കാളിയെ ചേര്ക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും നിന്റെ കര്മ്മം നിഷ്ഫലമായിപ്പോകുകയും തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ നഷ്ടക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ആകുകയും ചെയ്യും.
