اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُجَادِلُوْنَ فِيْٓ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطٰنٍ اَتٰىهُمْ ۙاِنْ فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمْ اِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُمْ بِبَالِغِيْهِۚ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْبَصِيْرُ ( غافر: ٥٦ )
Innal lazeena yujaadi loona feee Aayaatil laahi bighairi sultaanin ataahum in fee sudoorihim illaa kibrum maa hum bibaaligheeh; fasta'iz billaahi innahoo Huwas Samee'ul Baseer (Ghāfir 40:56)
English Sahih:
Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] evidence having come to them – there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing. (Ghafir [40] : 56)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഒരു തെളിവുമില്ലാതെ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി തര്ക്കിക്കുന്നതാരോ, ഉറപ്പായും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് അഹങ്കാരം മാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ. എന്നാല് അവര്ക്കാര്ക്കും ഉയരങ്ങളിലെത്താനാവില്ല. അതിനാല് നീ അല്ലാഹുവോട് രക്ഷതേടുക. അവന് എല്ലാം കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും കാണുന്നവനുമാണ്. (ഗാഫിര് [40] : 56)

തങ്ങള്ക്ക് യാതൊരു പ്രമാണവും വന്നുകിട്ടാതെ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി തര്ക്കിക്കുന്നതാരോ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് തീര്ച്ചയായും അഹങ്കാരം മാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ. അവര് അവിടെ എത്തുന്നതേ അല്ല.[1] അതുകൊണ്ട് നീ അല്ലാഹുവോട് കാവൽ തേടുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവനാണ് എല്ലാം കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും കാണുന്നവനും.
[1] അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നവര് ആ നിഷേധം കൊണ്ട് ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതെന്തായാലും അവര്ക്ക് ആ ലക്ഷ്യം പ്രാപിക്കാനാവില്ലെന്നര്ഥം.
