وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَظَنُّوْا مَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ مَّحِيْصٍ ( فصلت: ٤٨ )
waḍalla
وَضَلَّ
And lost
പിഴച്ചു (തെറ്റി, മറഞ്ഞു) പോകയും ചെയ്യും
ʿanhum
عَنْهُم
from them
അവരെ വിട്ടു
mā kānū
مَّا كَانُوا۟
what they were
അവരായിരുന്നതു
yadʿūna
يَدْعُونَ
invoking
അവർ വിളിക്കുക, പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുക
min qablu
مِن قَبْلُۖ
before before
മുമ്പു
waẓannū
وَظَنُّوا۟
and they (will) be certain
അവർക്കു വിചാരമുണ്ടാകുക (അവർ ധരിക്കുക, ഉറപ്പിക്കുക)യും ചെയ്യും
mā lahum
مَا لَهُم
(that) not for them
അവർക്കില്ല എന്നു
min maḥīṣin
مِّن مَّحِيصٍ
any place of escape
ഓടിപ്പോകാനുള്ള (രക്ഷപ്പെടാനുള്ള) ഒരു സ്ഥലവും
Wa dalla 'anhum maa kaanoo yad'oona min qablu wa zannoo maa lahum mim mahees (Fuṣṣilat 41:48)
English Sahih:
And lost from them will be those they were invoking before, and they will be certain that they have no place of escape. (Fussilat [41] : 48)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവര്‍ നേരത്തെ വിളിച്ചുപ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചിരുന്നവയെല്ലാം അവരില്‍നിന്ന് വിട്ടകന്നുപോകും. തങ്ങള്‍ക്കിനിയൊരു രക്ഷാമാര്‍ഗവുമില്ലെന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് ബോധ്യമാവുകയും ചെയ്യും. (ഹാമീം അസ്സജദ [41] : 48)
