لِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاۤءُ ۗيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ اِنَاثًا وَّيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ الذُّكُوْرَ ۙ ( الشورى: ٤٩ )
Lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ard; yakhluqu maa yashaaa'; yahabu limai yashaaa'u inaasanw wa yahabu limai yashaaa'uz zukoor (aš-Šūrā 42:49)
English Sahih:
To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males. (Ash-Shuraa [42] : 49)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ആകാശഭൂമികളുടെ ആധിപത്യം അല്ലാഹുവിനാണ്. അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നത് അവന് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അവന് പെണ്മക്കളെ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് ആണ്കുട്ടികളെയും സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നു. (അശ്ശൂറാ [42] : 49)

അല്ലാഹുവിന്നാകുന്നു ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും ആധിപത്യം. അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് അവന് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അവന് പെണ്മക്കളെ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് ആണ്മക്കളെയും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
