۞ اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ دَمَّرَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖوَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَمْثَالُهَا ( محمد: ١٠ )
afalam yasīrū
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟
Do not they travel
അവര്‍ സഞ്ചരിക്കാറില്ലേ, നടന്നിട്ടില്ലേ
fī l-arḍi
فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
in the earth
ഭൂമിയില്‍
fayanẓurū
فَيَنظُرُوا۟
and see
അപ്പോഴവര്‍ക്കു നോക്കിക്കാണാം
kayfa kāna
كَيْفَ كَانَ
how was
എങ്ങിനെ ആയെന്നു
ʿāqibatu alladhīna
عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ
(the) end (of) those
യാതൊരുകൂട്ടരുടെ കലാശം, പര്യവസാനം
min qablihim
مِن قَبْلِهِمْۚ
before them? before them?
അവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ള
dammara l-lahu
دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ
Allah destroyed Allah destroyed
അല്ലാഹു തകര്‍ത്തു
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْۖ
[over] them
അവരോടെ, അവരില്‍
walil'kāfirīna
وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
and for the disbelievers
(ഈ) അവിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്കുമുണ്ട്‌
amthāluhā
أَمْثَٰلُهَا
its likeness
അവപോലുള്ളത്
Afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fayanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; dammaral laahu 'alaihim wa lilkaafireena amsaaluhaa (Muḥammad 47:10)
English Sahih:
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable. (Muhammad [47] : 10)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരീ ഭൂമിയില്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് തങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്‍വികരുടെ പര്യവസാനം എവ്വിധമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കിക്കാണുന്നില്ലേ? അല്ലാഹു അവരെ അപ്പാടെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഈ സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്കും സംഭവിക്കുക അതു തന്നെ. (മുഹമ്മദ് [47] : 10)
