يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تُحَرِّمُوْا طَيِّبٰتِ مَآ اَحَلَّ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوْا ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَ ( المائدة: ٨٧ )
yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟
O you who believe!
ഹേ, വിശ്വസിച്ചവരേ
lā tuḥarrimū
لَا تُحَرِّمُوا۟
(Do) not make unlawful
നിങ്ങള്‍ ഹറാമാ(നിഷിദ്ധമാ)ക്കരുത്
ṭayyibāti
طَيِّبَٰتِ
(the) good things
നല്ല വസ്തുക്കളെ, വിശിഷ്ടമായവയെ
mā aḥalla
مَآ أَحَلَّ
(of) what has (been) made lawful
അനുവദനീയമാക്കിത്തന്നതിലെ
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
അല്ലാഹു
lakum
لَكُمْ
for you
നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്
walā taʿtadū
وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ۚ
and (do) not transgress
നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിരു വിടുകയും അരുത്
inna l-laha
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ
Indeed Allah
നിശ്ചയമായും അല്ലാഹു
lā yuḥibbu
لَا يُحِبُّ
(does) not love
ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയില്ല, സ്‌നേഹിക്കുന്നതല്ല
l-muʿ'tadīna
ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
the transgressors
അതിരുവിടുന്നവരെ
Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tuharrimoo taiyibaati maaa ahallal laahu lakum wa laa ta'tadooo; innal laaha laa yuhibbul mu'tadeen (al-Māʾidah 5:87)
English Sahih:
O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 87)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
വിശ്വസിച്ചവരേ, അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുവദിച്ചുതന്ന വിശിഷ്ട വസ്തുക്കളെ നിങ്ങള്‍ നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കരുത്. നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിരുകവിയരുത്. അതിരുകവിയുന്നവരെ അല്ലാഹു ഒട്ടും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. (അല്‍മാഇദ [5] : 87)
