فَاِذَا بَلَغْنَ اَجَلَهُنَّ فَاَمْسِكُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ اَوْ فَارِقُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ وَّاَشْهِدُوْا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِّنْكُمْ وَاَقِيْمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكُمْ يُوْعَظُ بِهٖ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ ەۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مَخْرَجًا ۙ ( الطلاق: ٢ )
Fa izaa balaghna ajalahunna fa amsikoohunna bima'roofin aw faariqoohunna bima'roofinw wa ashhidoo zawai 'adlim minkum wa aqeemush shahaadata lillaah; zaalikum yoo'azu bihee man kaana yu'minu billaahi wal yawmil aakhir; wa many yattaqil laaha yaj'al lahoo makhrajaa (aṭ-Ṭalāq̈ 65:2)
English Sahih:
And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah. That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out (At-Talaq [65] : 2)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരുടെ ഇദ്ദാ കാലാവധി എത്തിയാല് നല്ല നിലയില് അവരെ കൂടെ നിര്ത്തുക. അല്ലെങ്കില് മാന്യമായ നിലയില് അവരുമായി വേര്പിരിയുക. നിങ്ങളില് നീതിമാന്മാരായ രണ്ടുപേരെ അതിനു സാക്ഷികളാക്കുക. ''സാക്ഷികളേ, നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവിന് വേണ്ടി നേരാംവിധം സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുക.'' അല്ലാഹുവിലും അന്ത്യദിനത്തിലും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കു നല്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഉപദേശമാണിത്. അല്ലാഹുവോട് ഭക്തി കാണിക്കുന്നവന്ന് അല്ലാഹു രക്ഷാമാര്ഗമൊരുക്കിക്കൊടുക്കും. (അത്ത്വലാഖ് [65] : 2)

അങ്ങനെ അവര് (വിവാഹമുക്തകള്) അവരുടെ അവധിയില് എത്തുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് ന്യായമായ നിലയില് അവരെ പിടിച്ചു നിര്ത്തുകയോ, ന്യായമായ നിലയില് അവരുമായി വേര്പിരിയുകയോ ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ള രണ്ടു നീതിമാന്മാരെ നിങ്ങള് സാക്ഷി നിര്ത്തുകയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് വേണ്ടി സാക്ഷ്യം നേരാംവണ്ണം നിലനിര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുക.[1] അല്ലാഹുവിലും അന്ത്യദിനത്തിലും വിശ്വസിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് ഉപദേശം നല്കപ്പെടുന്നതത്രെ അത്. അല്ലാഹുവെ വല്ലവനും സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അല്ലാഹു അവന്നൊരു പോംവഴി ഉണ്ടാക്കികൊടുക്കുകയും,
[1] ആവശ്യം വരുന്ന സമയത്ത് സാക്ഷികള് നിഷ്പക്ഷമായി സാക്ഷിമൊഴി നല്കണമെന്നര്ഥം.
