اَفَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰٓى اَنْ يَّأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا وَّهُمْ نَاۤىِٕمُوْنَۗ ( الأعراف: ٩٧ )

Then did feel secure
അപ്പോള് സമാധാനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയോ, നിര്ഭയമായോ
ahlu l-qurā
أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
(the) people (of) the cities
രാജ്യക്കാര്
an yatiyahum
أَن يَأْتِيَهُم
that comes to them
അവര്ക്കു വരുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു, വന്നെത്തുന്നതു
basunā
بَأْسُنَا
Our punishment
നമ്മുടെ ഗൗരവം, ശൗര്യം, ഊക്കു, ശിക്ഷ
bayātan
بَيَٰتًا
(at) night
രാത്രി വേളയില്, രാത്രിയിലെ ആക്രമണമായിട്ടു
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
അവരായിരിക്കെ
nāimūna
نَآئِمُونَ
(were) asleep?
ഉറങ്ങുന്നവര്.
Afa amina ahlul quraaa ai yaatiyahum baasunaa bayaatanw wa hum naaa'imoon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:97)
English Sahih:
Then, did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them at night while they were asleep? (Al-A'raf [7] : 97)

എന്നാല് അന്നാട്ടുകാര്, രാത്രിയില് അവര് ഉറക്കിലായിരിക്കെ നമ്മുടെ ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നിര്ഭയരായിപ്പോയോ? (അല്അഅ്റാഫ് [7] : 97)
