وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَۚ ( الأنفال: ٢١ )
walā takūnū
وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟
And (do) not be
നിങ്ങളായിരിക്കുകയും അരുതു
ka-alladhīna qālū
كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟
like those who say
പറഞ്ഞവരെപ്പോലെ
samiʿ'nā
سَمِعْنَا
"We heard"
ഞങ്ങള് കേട്ടു
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
അവരാകട്ടെ, അവരോ
lā yasmaʿūna
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ
do not hear
കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല
Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena qaaloo sami'naa wa hum laa yasma'oon (al-ʾAnfāl 8:21)
English Sahih:
And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear. (Al-Anfal [8] : 21)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഒന്നും കേള്ക്കാതെ 'ഞങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കുന്നുണ്ടെ'ന്ന് പറയുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയുമാവരുത് നിങ്ങള്. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 21)
