وَوَصّٰى بِهَآ اِبْرٰهٖمُ بَنِيْهِ وَيَعْقُوْبُۗ يٰبَنِيَّ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰى لَكُمُ الدِّيْنَ فَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ۗ ( البقرة: ١٣٢ )
wawaṣṣā
وَوَصَّىٰ
And enjoined
Dhe (e) porositi
bihā
بِهَآ
[it]
me të (fenë)
ib'rāhīmu
إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ
Ibrahim
Ibrahimi
banīhi
بَنِيهِ
(upon) his sons
djemtë e tij
wayaʿqūbu
وَيَعْقُوبُ
and Yaqub
edhe Jakubi
yābaniyya
يَٰبَنِىَّ
"O my sons!
o bijtë e mi
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
vërtet
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
Allahu
iṣ'ṭafā
ٱصْطَفَىٰ
has chosen
zgjodhi
lakumu
لَكُمُ
for you
për ju
l-dīna
ٱلدِّينَ
the religion
fenë
falā
فَلَا
so not
prandaj mos
tamūtunna
تَمُوتُنَّ
(should) you die
vdisni assesi
illā
إِلَّا
except
përveç
wa-antum
وَأَنتُم
while you
e ju (jeni)
mus'limūna
مُّسْلِمُونَ
(are) submissive"
të nënshtruar (muslimanë)
Wa wassaa bihaaa Ibraaheemu baneehi wa Ya'qoob, yaa baniyya innal laahas tafaa lakumud deena falaa tamootunna illaa wa antum muslimoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:132)
English Sahih:
And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims." (Al-Baqarah [2] : 132)
Sherif Ahmeti:
E Ibrahimi i porositi bijtë e tij me këtë (fe), e edhe Jakubi, (u thanë) “O bijtë e mi, All-llahu ua zgjodhi fenë (islame) juve, pra mos vdisni ndryshe, por vetëm duke qenë muslimanë!” (Al-Baqarah [2] : 132)
