۞ اَوَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ كَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ كَانُوْا هُمْ اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَّاٰثَارًا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۗوَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّاقٍ ( غافر: ٢١ )
Awalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena kaanoo min qablihim; kaanoo hum ashadda minhum quwwatanw wa aasaaran fil ardi fa akhazahumul laahu bizunoobihim wa maa kaana lahum minal laahi minw waaq (Ghāfir 40:21)
English Sahih:
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector. (Ghafir [40] : 21)
Sherif Ahmeti:
A nuk udhëtuan ata nëpër tokë të shohin se si ishte përfundimi i atyre që patën qenë para tyre? Ata ishin edhe më fuqishëm se këta e edhe lanë më shumë gjurmë më tokë, po All-llahu i dënoi për shkak të mëkateve të tyre dhe nuk patë ndonjë që t’i mbrojë prej dënimit të All-llahut (Ghafir [40] : 21)
