وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ رَبُّكَ لَاٰمَنَ مَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيْعًاۗ اَفَاَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتّٰى يَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( يونس: ٩٩ )
And if (had) willed
وَلَوْ شَآءَ
நாடினால்
your Lord
رَبُّكَ
உம் இறைவன்
surely (would) have believed
لَءَامَنَ
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருப்பார்(கள்)
who (are) in the earth
مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
பூமியிலுள்ளவர்கள்
all of them
كُلُّهُمْ
அவர்கள் எல்லோரும்
together
جَمِيعًاۚ
அனைவரும்
Then will you
أَفَأَنتَ
நீர்?
compel
تُكْرِهُ
நிர்ப்பந்திப்பீர்
the mankind
ٱلنَّاسَ
மக்களை
until they become
حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا۟
அவர்கள் ஆகிவிடுவதற்கு
believers?
مُؤْمِنِينَ
நம்பிக்கையாளர்களாக
Wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka la aamana man fil ardi kulluhum jamee'aa; afa anta tukrihun naasa hattaa yakoonoo mu'mineen (al-Yūnus 10:99)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
உங்கள் இறைவன் விரும்பினால், பூமியிலுள்ள அனைவருமே நம்பிக்கையாளர்களாகி விடுவார்கள். எனினும், மனிதர்கள் (அனைவருமே) நம்பிக்கையாளர்களாகிவிட வேண்டுமென்று அவர்களை நீங்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்க முடியுமா?
English Sahih:
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? ([10] Yunus : 99)
