قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ اَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ اِنَّآ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ ( يوسف: ١٤ )
They said
قَالُوا۟
கூறினர்
"If eats him
لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ
தின்றால்/அவரை
the wolf
ٱلذِّئْبُ
ஓநாய்
while we
وَنَحْنُ
நாங்கள் இருக்க
(are) a group
عُصْبَةٌ
ஒரு கூட்டமாக
indeed we
إِنَّآ
நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள்
then
إِذًا
அப்போது
surely (would be) losers"
لَّخَٰسِرُونَ
நஷ்டவாளிகள்தான்
Qaaloo la in akalahuzzi'bu wa nahnu 'usbatun innaaa izal lakhaasiroon (Yūsuf 12:14)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
அதற்கவர்கள், "பலசாலிகளான நாங்கள் இருந்தும் அவரை ஒரு ஓநாய் தின்பதென்றால் நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் நஷ்டவாளிகள் ஆகிவிடுவோம்" என்று கூறி (சம்மதிக்கச் செய்து),
English Sahih:
They said, "If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers." ([12] Yusuf : 14)
