قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ اَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ اِنَّآ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ ( يوسف: ١٤ )
They said
قَالُوا۟
Sie sagten;
"If
لَئِنْ
"Wenn
eats him
أَكَلَهُ
ihn frisst
the wolf
ٱلذِّئْبُ
der Wolf,
while we
وَنَحْنُ
während wir
(are) a group
عُصْبَةٌ
(sind) eine Schar,
indeed we
إِنَّآ
wahrlich, wir
then
إِذًا
dann
surely (would be) losers"
لَّخَٰسِرُونَ
(wären) sicherlich Verlierer."
Qālū La'in 'Akalahu Adh-Dhi'bu Wa Naĥnu `Uşbatun 'Innā 'Idhāan Lakhāsirūna. (Yūsuf 12:14)

Sie sagten; "Wenn ihn der Wolf fressen sollte, wo wir doch eine (ansehnliche) Schar sind, dann wären wir fürwahr Verlierer." ([12] Yusuf (Josef) : 14)
English Sahih:
They said, "If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers." ([12] Yusuf : 14)
