هُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاۤءً وَّالْقَمَرَ نُوْرًا وَّقَدَّرَهٗ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوْا عَدَدَ السِّنِيْنَ وَالْحِسَابَۗ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ اِلَّا بِالْحَقِّۗ يُفَصِّلُ الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ ( يونس: ٥ )

for a people

يَعْلَمُونَ

Huwal lazee ja'alash shamsa diyaaa'anw walqamara nooranw wa qaddarahoo manaaz zila lita'lamoo 'adadas sineena walhisaab; maa khalaqal laahu zaalika illa bilhaqq; yufassilul aayaati liqawminw ya'lamoon (al-Yūnus 10:5 )
English Sahih: It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases – that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know. (Yunus [10] : 5 )
Ma Jian (Simplified):
他曾以太阳为发光的，以月亮为光明的，并为月亮而定列宿，以便你们知道历算。安拉只依真理而创造之。他为能了解的民众而解释一切迹象。 (优努斯 [10] : 5 )

1 Mokhtasar Chinese祂使太阳散发光辉，使月亮反射太阳光，祂为月亮规定了二十八宫——月亮每昼夜所运行的距离。人们啊！这是为了让你们借太阳而知道日数，借月亮而知道月数和年数。真主只以真理创造了天地及其间的一切，以便为人类昭示祂的大能和伟大。真主为民众阐明了这些证明其独一性的确凿证据，他们依此而引证真主的独一。
