وَاِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَاَمْنًاۗ وَاتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ اِبْرٰهٖمَ مُصَلًّىۗ وَعَهِدْنَآ اِلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ اَنْ طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّاۤىِٕفِيْنَ وَالْعٰكِفِيْنَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُوْدِ ( البقرة: ١٢٥ )
Wa iz ja'alnal Baita masaabatal linnassi wa amnanw wattakhizoo mim Maqaami Ibraaheema musallaaa; wa 'ahidnaaa ilaaa Ibraaheema wa Ismaa'eela an tahhiraa Baitiya littaaa'ifeena wal'aakifeena warrukka'is sujood (al-Baq̈arah 2:125)
English Sahih:
And [mention] when We made the House [i.e., the Ka’bah] a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform ‹Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]." (Al-Baqarah [2] : 125)

当时，我以天房为众人的归宿地和安宁地。你们当以易卜拉欣的立足地为礼拜处。我命易卜拉欣和易司马仪说：“你俩应当为旋绕致敬者、虔诚住守者、鞠躬叩头者，清洁我的房屋。” (黄牛 [2] : 125)
