وَاسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُوْدُهٗ فِى الْاَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوْٓا اَنَّهُمْ اِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُوْنَ ( القصص: ٣٩ )
wa-is'takbara
وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ
And he was arrogant

yur'jaʿūna
يُرْجَعُونَ
will be returned

Wastakbara huwa wa junooduhoo fil ardi bighairil haqqi wa zannooo annahum ilainaa laa yurja'oon (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:39)
English Sahih:
And he was arrogant, he and his soldiers, in the land, without right, and they thought that they would not be returned to Us. (Al-Qasas [28] : 39)
