وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوْا مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوْا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ اٰبَاۤءَنَاۗ اَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطٰنُ يَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلٰى عَذَابِ السَّعِيْرِ ( لقمان: ٢١ )
wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when

قَالُوا۟
they say

بَلْ
"Nay
不然
nattabiʿu
نَتَّبِعُ
we will follow
我们遵守
mā
مَا
what
什么
wajadnā
وَجَدْنَا
we found
我们发现
ʿalayhi
عَلَيْهِ
on it
它|在
ābāanā
ءَابَآءَنَآۚ
our forefathers"
我们的|众父亲
awalaw
أَوَلَوْ
Even if
如果|和|吗？
kāna
كَانَ
Shaitaan was
他是
l-shayṭānu
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
Shaitaan was
恶魔
yadʿūhum
يَدْعُوهُمْ
(to) call them
他们|他邀请
ilā
إِلَىٰ
to
至
ʿadhābi
عَذَابِ
(the) punishment
刑罚
l-saʿīri
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
(of) the Blaze!
烈火的
Wa izaa qeela lahumut-tabi'oo maaa anzalal laahu qaaloo bal nattabi'u maa wajadnaa 'alaihi aabaaa'anaa; awalaw kaanash Shaitaanu yad'oohum ilaa 'azaabis sa'eer (Luq̈mān 31:21)
English Sahih:
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze? (Luqman [31] : 21)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
如果有人对他们说：“你们应当遵守安拉所降示的（经典）。”他们就说：“不然，我们遵守我们祖先的遗教。”即使恶魔叫他们去受烈火的刑罚，（他们仍要遵守）吗？ (鲁格曼 [31] : 21)
