۞ اَوَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ كَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ كَانُوْا هُمْ اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَّاٰثَارًا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۗوَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّاقٍ ( غافر: ٢١ )
Awalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena kaanoo min qablihim; kaanoo hum ashadda minhum quwwatanw wa aasaaran fil ardi fa akhazahumul laahu bizunoobihim wa maa kaana lahum minal laahi minw waaq (Ghāfir 40:21)
English Sahih:
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector. (Ghafir [40] : 21)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
难道他们没有在大地上旅行以观察前人的结局是怎样的吗？前人比他们势力更大、成绩更多；但安拉因他们的罪过而惩治他们，他们对安拉没有任何保护者。 (赦宥者 [40] : 21)
