قُلْ لِّلْمُخَلَّفِيْنَ مِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ اِلٰى قَوْمٍ اُولِيْ بَأْسٍ شَدِيْدٍ تُقَاتِلُوْنَهُمْ اَوْ يُسْلِمُوْنَ ۚ فَاِنْ تُطِيْعُوْا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللّٰهُ اَجْرًا حَسَنًا ۚ وَاِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ( الفتح: ١٦ )

to those who remained behind

Qul lilmukhallafeena minal A'raabi satud'awna ilaa qawmin ulee baasin shadeedin tuqaati loonahum aw yuslimoona fa in tutee'oo yu'tikumul laahu ajran hasananw wa in tatawallaw kamaa tawallaitum min qablu yu'azzibkum 'azaaban aleemaa (al-Fatḥ 48:16 )
English Sahih: Say to those who remained behind of the bedouins, "You will be called to [face] a people of great military might; you may fight them, or they will submit. So if you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment." (Al-Fath [48] : 16 )
Ma Jian (Simplified):
你对逗留在后方的游牧民说：“你们将被召去讨伐一群剽悍的民众，或他们归顺。如果你们服从（命令），安拉就以优美的报酬赏赐你们；如果你们还像以前那样规避，他就使你们受痛苦的刑罚。” (胜利 [48] : 16 )

1 Mokhtasar Chinese使者啊！你考验留在后方未同你一道前往麦加的游牧人说：“你们即将被号召去讨伐剽悍好战的民众，你们为主道出征，或许他们会和平地归顺伊斯兰。如果你们响应真主的号召而参战，真主必赐你们美好的报酬，即乐园；如果你们如同躲避去麦加一样拒绝参战，真主将严厉惩罚你们。”
