كَيْفَ وَاِنْ يَّظْهَرُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوْا فِيْكُمْ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّةً ۗيُرْضُوْنَكُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبٰى قُلُوْبُهُمْۚ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَۚ ( التوبة: ٨ )

they gain dominance

over you

they do not regard (the ties)

يَرْقُبُوا۟
they do not regard (the ties)
他们重视盟约
fīkum
فِيكُمْ
with you
你们|在
illan
إِلًّا
(of) kinship
戚谊
walā
وَلَا
and not
不|和
dhimmatan
ذِمَّةًۚ
covenant of protection?
盟约
yur'ḍūnakum
يُرْضُونَكُم
They satisfy you
你们|他们使喜欢
bi-afwāhihim
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ
with their mouths
他们的|众嘴|在
watabā
وَتَأْبَىٰ
but refuse
他们反对|和
qulūbuhum
قُلُوبُهُمْ
their hearts
他们的|众心
wa-aktharuhum
وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ
and most of them
他们的|大多数|和
fāsiqūna
فَٰسِقُونَ
(are) defiantly disobedient
违约的
Kaifa wa iny-yazharoo 'alaikum laa yarquboo feekum illanw wa laa zimmah; yurdoo nakum biafwaahihim wa taabaa quloobuhum wa aksaruhum faasiqoon (at-Tawbah 9:8)
English Sahih:
How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient. (At-Tawbah [9] : 8)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
他们怎么会有盟约呢？如果他们战胜你们，他们对你们就不顾戚谊，不重盟约。他们用甜言蜜语使你们喜欢，他们的内心却不肯实践诺言，他们的大半是犯罪的。 (忏悔 [9] : 8)
